If you agree, Mro, you have to sing along.

Martin, thanks, it is actually a very beautiful song!

It is, and the line that your picture brought to my mind is :
Báidín Fheilimídh briseadh i dToraí,
Báidín Fheilimídh is Feilimídh ann.
Báidín Fheilimídh briseadh i dToraí,
Éisc ar bord agus Feilimídh ann.

Which translates (very simply) as
Feilím's boat broke up in Tory,
Feilím's boat with Feilím inside,
Feilím's boat broke up in Tory,
Full of fish and Feilím inside.

I love 'Báidín Fheilimídh'. Simple and evocative. A good match for the moving photography here.

Did you meet the King of Tory ?

name: jedrzej, 12-08-2011 11:51

I did, but isn't that his ambition to meet anyone arriving on the island? We spent a night there and had really memorable time with him and others in a social club.
