Shandon Bridge, Cork
this photo is from yesterday - a dense fog appeared in Cork around 10 p.m. and stayed here until noon today.
the pedestrian Shandon Bridge is also referred to as Cornmarket Bridge - which name is correct?

This bridge has a very funny feature - the part you are actually on goes dark as you step on it. Took some time to realise nothing was wrong with me, though now our chances to trip on something are significantly bigger.

yes, but while your face would be rapidly approaching the wooden planks of the bridge you could take extreme satisfaction from the fact that you're doing it in the name of Art.
this feature makes really great imprssion though - espacially when two people walk on the bridge in opposite directions. i must climb on something high and watch it from above some night.
